Your gifts, both large and small, make a real difference to the life of our churches and the communities in which they serve.

There are a range of ways to give to the ministry and mission of our churches, from cash donations during a visit to our churches and church services, contactless donations via our card reader at The Minster, to becoming one of our regular givers.  Tax payers can also increase the value of their donations, providing an additional 25% of the value of their gift, by joining our gift aid scheme.

It is always helpful to let the church treasurer know, via the office, of any donations you make, to help them account for the gifts they receive.

Legacy gifts provide key support for churches to help grow their ministries, support their communities and care for their beautiful historic buildings. These incredibly powerful gifts can make such a difference to the life of the church and can be used for general or specific purposes as chosen by you.

If you haven't yet written your will, the Church of England have partnered with online will-writing company, 'Farewill' to help you create your will and a limited number of new wills are being offered for free! It takes under 30 minutes to complete and you will be asked during the process whether you would like to leave a gift to a church in your will. There is no obligation to do so, but we hope you will consider how a gift could help your church to continue making a lasting difference in your community.

For more information on using Farewill, please visit the Church of England's Free Wills webpage.

Should you have any questions about ways to give, or how your donations will be used, do contact the office for more information.
