Serving Others

God calls everyone as disciples of Christ to contribute to the life of the church and community. All of us have been given gifts with which to serve our friends and neighbours. So don’t hide your light under a bushel but come and join in - being part of a team is great fun! Sharing our love for our neighbours includes serving our communities, by:

  • caring for our buildings as valuable community assets and ensuring that they remain open to the public as places of prayer

  • providing opportunities for people of all ages to gather together and share fellowship, for example through Memories Cafe and Minster Minis

  • running the local Foodbank and Food Share

  • working with Ilminster Quakers to provide a regular Warm Space

  • hosting the annual Christmas Tree Festival, raising funds for local charities and other good causes
