Facilities and Room Hire

The Minster Rooms are available for hire by community groups and the general public.

Situated opposite the west door of The Minster Church, Court Baton, Ilminster, this community facility consists of two main spaces, the Letham Room and the smaller Spurdle Room.

The Letham Room is a spacious, well-appointed function room with a generously equipped kitchen for serving light refreshments.  It is suitable for a broad range of activities including family functions, such as christenings, charity events and exercise classes, to meetings, presentations and training sessions.  It is large enough to hold up to 80 people standing or 50 seated. There are four steps to negotiate to the Letham Room.

The smaller room, known as the Spurdle Room, can be used for smaller meetings or one to one therapy sessions and comfortably seats 6 to 8 people. The Spurdle Room is down a flight of stairs, although a stairlift is fitted for those with mobility issues. 

There are two toilets, one on each floor.  Nappy changing facilities are provided downstairs.
